09 Apr Maggie Speaks – We Love our Fans!
Playing shows all over the world for the past 20 years can really take a toll on you. As a professional band, we are constantly moving from gig to gig, and city to city, sometimes at a frantic pace. As we reflect on our career, the word we would use to describe it would not be exhausted, it would be fortunate. We are so grateful for all of our wonderful fans who have supported us over the years, and have allowed us to do what we do for living. So, this year we thought it was our turn to return the favor.
On February 13, Maggie Speaks performed a private, VIP show for 100 loyal fans at Nevin’s Brewing Company in Plainfield, IL. It was a wonderful time of music, drinks, and spending some time to get to know the faces we see from the stage each week. It was our turn to send over some applause and say thank you for being there for us. It was such a great event that we are planning on doing some more similar events in the coming future. To all our fans out there we just want to say thank you for being the best fans in the world, and we promise to keep the music flowing and dance floor full for as long as the spotlight keeps shining.
