Over 10 of Chicago’s finest eateries will compete to craft the city’s most mouthwatering tacos.

Since its debut in 2022 as part of Wilmette’s sesquicentennial (150-year celebration!), The Wilmette Block Party has become an annual highlight of late summer. Organized by the Wilmette Park District in partnership with the Village of Wilmette and the Wilmette/ Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce, the event continues to grow each year. The Block Party draws thousands of people downtown to enjoy local food, live music and family-friendly activities. After a record-breaking 2025— with 22 sponsors, 40 Kids Zone booths and nearly $47,000 raised—we can’t wait to make year five our most exciting celebration yet!
